Royal Inn Hotel

This is an Indian business hotel that is good value for money. It's a small friendly hotel, about 20 rooms. Rooms are about 4,400 Rupees per night.

If all you want is a place to sleep, this is the place for you. If you want western comfort and luxury, this is not the place for you.

Some things to keep in mind when staying here:
a) The cars that go by on the street will be blaring their horns late into the night. Try to get a high floor that faces the back.
b) You do get breakfast (confirm this). You'll call down and it'll be delivered to your room. You can get scrambled eggs, toast, milk and coffee.
c) Most of the rickshaw and taxi drivers don't know this hotel. Tell them it is in Khar West across from the telephone exchange. And carry the hotels business card with you.
d) You will not have Internet access in your room. You can connect your laptop to the Internet cable at the entrance for a nominal fee (about 30 Rupees per hour) to download and check emails.
e) You can ask the doorman to help you flag a taxi, and to help ensure the taxi driver knows where you want to go.
f) You will not have cable TV - I think there were several Indian channels, but no CNN
